The facts are easy to establish: Max Cooper has more than 50 original releases, tracks and remixes under his belt, from glitchy reinterpretations of big bands like Hot Chip and Au Revoir Simone to straight dancefloor 12"s like his breakthrough "Serie" originals and remixes for names like Agoria, Dominik Eulberg, Extrawelt, Pig and Dan, Kaiserdisco and Sasha.

The approach, meanwhile, is anything but simple. A melancholy composer whose live sets can raise blisters in a club, Cooper is as comfortable writing abstract electronica as he is writing dancefloor techno 12"s . A rationalist with an otherworldly, idealistic side, Cooper is also a wildly creative musician who until recently had a day job as a sober scientist.

And he's swung from extreme to extreme since he first took to the decks 11 years ago.

As Cooper sees it, there's conflict, but it's part of the music-writing process. Each side of his personality sparks ideas off the other, and what remains constant is his own unique and starkly emotional style. From his breakthrough trilogy of "Serie" releases on Traum Schallplatten - the first released in 2009 and with each track inspired by a different scientific or mathematical concept - Cooper has built a reputation for one-off originals, killer remixes and challenging DJ and live sets.

Since his first release in 2007, his back catalogue now includes two mainstream Hype Machine smashes with reworks of Hot Chip and Portishead, several Beatport genre top 10s, work with the visual artists Whiskas fX and Nick Cobby and an increasing number of collaborations with artists a long distance from Cooper's dancefloor beginnings.

With his time now mainly spent writing and touring music, Cooper continues to release his own originals, with 'The End Of Reason' described by Resident Advisor as "a truly sublime beatless tour de force that recalls Philip Glass, Aphex Twin's most serene moments and even Henryk Gorecki's Symphony No. 3", and the UK's IDJ magazine saying that Cooper "consistently proves himself to be one of the most peerlessly beautiful recording artists in modern dance music". Tash ( www.djtash.com ) has been DJing since '00, releasing music on TribalVision, Vapour, Iboga, Echoes & more, running his own imprint, Movement Recordings (GR) !!

Tassos Papagiannoulis aka TASH was born & raised in Veria GR in 1984. Since his early childhood he’s been surrounded by art-forms with Music and Design to play afterwards a big role into his way of living, being involved into organizing music events & art festivals since his 13 (!) back in his hometown, and having his first experience on turntables / decks in the last ‘90s !
The new millennium finds him attracted by the progressive genres of Electronic Dance Music industry, and Tash starts to spin House, Progressive, Tech House and Trance vinyls getting his first residency in Mojo (Veria) where his EDM journey started in ’00, and started building a great rep regarding his special mixing skills & unique style.. A couple of years after, he meets dutch dj Stage Van H and they join forces for gigs & events in Greece, forming the DJM Productions (DJ Movement) based in Thessaloniki in ’05.. Since then, the DJM duo has been responsible for successful events in Greece presenting artists like Gabriel & Dresden, Andy Moor, Kasey Taylor, Parham & Dominic Plaza, Harry Lemon, Leama, Eelke Kleijn, Cjay, Gpal, Nikola Gala, ao..

Since then, Tassos has performed in major events & top clubs in countries like: United Kingdom (Ministry Of Sound / Gallery, London), Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, and Kosovo, to huge dance music festivals such as Fusion Festival 2012 (DE), Amsterdam Dance Event (NL), SeeMe (BG), Aurora Festival (GR), Butterfly Dance Festival (GR), Baracuda Openair (KS), ao.. All this time he has shared the decks with top artists like: DJ Tiesto, Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Quivver / John Graham, Spektre, Minilogue / Son Kite, James Monro, Neelix, Vibrasphere, Atmos and Ticon, to name a few…!

As a Producer, he’s been experiencing in his home-studio since the mid ‘00s, presenting his debut release on Greed’s swiss legendary SOG Records, with important releases to follow on labels like the infamous Baroque Records (Uk), Kasey Taylor’s Vapour Recordings (Au), Andy Moor’s AVA Recordings (UK), Presslab (It), Pure Substance (Ms), System (Us), Spherax (Sl), AlterImage (Us), Echoes (Il), Lowbit (Uk), Iboga Records (Dk), and Tribal Vision Records (Cz) – to name just a few - being a part of the TVR artist-roster alongside artists like Perfect Stranger, Brisker & Magitman, Vibrasphere, Tegma, Jaia, ao..

His firs album came In late 2008, entitled ‘Movement’ alongside Stage Van H launching at the same time their own label imprint, Movement Recordings based in Thessaloniki.. The album climbed on #6 of Psyshop’s Top-Selling Charts, following the 1st label CD Compilation compiled by Tash, himself entitled ‘Technical Progress’, another release reaching the Top10 @ Psyshop Charts..! His productions have been receiving the support of main ‘players’ of the industry incl. Hernan Cattaneo, Sander Kleinenberg, Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Dave Seaman, Above & Beyond, Nick Warren, Jody Wisternof, and many more..! Nowadays, Tash is getting busy with label duties on Movement Recordings, alongside touring the world for gigs as also Label Nights in Greece & Movement Tours all around - with next couple to come up in India (September) & South America (December) – while he collects inspiration to sit down and work on his first solo Album CD to come up in 2013 ! TONI MANGA | BIO

Toni Manga was born & raised in Munich, Germany. His trip into electronic music starts in late ‘90s, getting involved in DJing professionally in underground events & clubs of Germany, specialized in techno sounds & beats since then.. The new millennium finds Toni moving in Thessaloniki, Greece, where his studio-base is located nowadays, playing in major events & festivals, alongside the main clubs around the country. His skills & techniques brought him on the 1st place at ‘City In The Mix’ National DJ Competition held at Club Decadence (Thessaloniki), following dj mixes getting aired on various radios, interviews floating on national tv network & Press..

Since 2006, Toni Manga started working on Producing his own beats and playing in several underground parties in Greece after he moved. A couple of years after, around ’09 Toni had his first release on Movement Recordings, with a continuous rising with more releases following on label like Eitan Carmi’s Fatali Music, Spherax Records, Michael & Levan’s Mistique Music, Future Lovers (Plusquam) and more.. The next coming year ‘10, Toni Manga can be seen and heard all over the country of Greece spinning next on top notch artists incl. Popof, D-Nox, Max Cooper, Spektre, Andrea Bertolini, Lank, James Monro, Atmos, Dj Zombi of Weekend Heroes, and Lish to name a few, and a year after that he still keeps on track, working on new beats and pieces so during the same year Toni delivers some massive remixes for artists incl. Cid Inc, Hypnotic Duo & Ad Brown, alongside his infamous ‘Plan B’ released in ‘Cold Beats’ compilation of Movement Recordings.

Since then, Toni Manga has been traveling around Netherlands, Austria, Germany, and all over Greece performing in major events & festivals including Amsterdam Dance Event (NL), and clubs such as Café D’Anvers (Antwerp BE), Nightzone (Zillertale AT), and many more.. 2013 and new stuff came up, new hot Original tunes such as ‘Night Rider’ picked by Weekend Heroes for their ‘Best Of Our Sets’ vol.7 compilation on the legendary Iboga Records (dk), and ‘Hocus Pocus’ (also produced with Tash) being dropped on Movement, and numerous gigs all over Greece and countries Europe & having the first intercontinental Movement Tour scheduled, Toni Manga is locked in the studio bringing some fresh techno-prog gems ongoing, so keep an eye on .. !
