On Friday, 8th of March, Reform has the pleasure to host it's first event for 2013, at six d.o.g.s' Gig Space, presenting Perc Trax Showcase.

On the decks of Reform will appear the Boss of the Label, Perc(a.k.a Ali Wells) Truss (a.k.a MPIA3) and the young talented producer Sawf.

The event’s line up also includes the resident Djs of Reform parties, and co-owners of Modal Analysis record label, Hiori and 3.14.

PERC

Ali Wells, otherwise known as Perc, is the father of Perc Trax, one of the most succesfull british techno labels. From his earliest demos to his current position as a key figure in the global techno scene, Perc has taken the established forms of the music he loves and twisted them into something new and fresh.
Building up successful relationships with scene-leading labels such as Drumcode, Ovum, Kompakt and CLR whilst unleashing a strong run of releases on his own Perc Trax label has seen Perc’s influence and support grow even further. With each release his sonic experimentation has taken another leap forward without losing sight of the dance floor.

Truss

London based producer, Tom Russell aka Truss has been releasing music since 2007, and writing and composing for over 10 years. With an uncompromising output of British influenced techno, his music takes inspiration from artists such as Subhead, Cristian Vogel, Neil Landstrumm, Regis and Surgeon.
Following numerous releases with long time collaborator Donor on such labels as Dumb Unit, Synewave and Thema, his fist solo EP, ‘Osbasten’ was released on Perc Trax, setting the tone for his attention to detail and percussive swinging rhythms. Further records have appeared on Sigha’s label – Our Circular Sound, Shifted’s Avian imprint with forthcoming material on R&S records.

Sawf

It was around the year 2000 when the young greek Sawf got into electronic music. Only a synthesizer and a drum machine were enough to start his experimentations and set the ground for his unique and raw style. Six years after, he extended his set up by adding a laptop in order to start working even more seriously on music and sound design. In the year 2008 he first sent out a demo package to the UK label Perc Trax which released his fist ever album “Flaws” in 2011, as well as several Eps including remixes by artists like Marcel Fengler, DVS1, Mørbeck, Subjected or Radial. Since 2011 Sawf is part of the Grounded Theory Berlin and is represented in booking and management issues by the camp.
In 2012, one year after his debut album release, Sawf returned with the ‘Sand EP’ on the Greek imprint Modal Analysis, having a more abstract approach to his sound.
